At this stage, we unite all the design work from interior architecture, interior design, and FF&E, finalising it with a carefully curated selection of styling materials and items. Similar to the success of any endeavor, we follow a three-stage process: briefing, design, and realization. While each project is unique in terms of its requirements and architecture, our system acts as a reliable framework that guides us through these stages, ensuring that we bring your dreams to life.

01) BRIEF

In the brief stage, we prioritise understanding the client's lifestyle, preferences, and objectives. 02) DESIGN

In the design stage, we transform our initial vision into a detailed, actionable plan. This phase encompasses interior architecture, interior design, FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and turnkey styling. This stage ensures a clear direction and comprehensive understanding of how each area will function and appear. We finalise the design details, including the selection of materials and furnishings, and establish the budget. By the end of this stage, we have a complete overview of the project, with a well-defined plan and budget that guide the realisation of the design.

03) REALISATION

In the realisation stage, we bring the design to life, beginning once all design elements have been confirmed and approved by the client. This phase focuses on procurement, design project management, and executing the plan. We start by sourcing and acquiring the necessary materials, managing orders, and overseeing project milestones. Coordination with contractors ensures that all specifications are accurately implemented. How much does an interior design project cost?

Each project is individually scoped, with costs reflecting the property, the complexity of the design and the level of involvement required. Our service is structured around three stages:

Design: Fees start from £20 plus VAT per square foot.
Procurement: An indicative budget starts from £100 plus VAT per square foot for the specified goods, including furniture, bespoke pieces and joinery. This is refined as the design develops.
Management: Fees start from £2,000 plus VAT per month for limited involvement, with more comprehensive support quoted according to the project’s requirements.
These figures provide an initial guide. A tailored proposal sets out the scope, fees and anticipated expenditure for each stage, giving clients a clear understanding of their investment and how it will be managed.

What does the interior design process look like, step by step?

Consultation and brief
We begin with a detailed consultation and measured survey, understanding your lifestyle, aspirations, budget and timescale alongside the opportunities and constraints of the property. This establishes a clear brief for the project.
Design development
We develop the layouts and interior scheme, presenting our initial design followed by two rounds of revisions. Once approved, the final design and specifications form the basis for procurement and delivery.
Procurement and project management
Following your approval of the specifications and costs, we place orders and coordinate with suppliers and specialist makers. Where project management is required, we also liaise with contractors, attend site visits and oversee progress in line with the agreed scope.
Installation, styling and aftercare
We bring the scheme together through installation and final styling, followed by a walkthrough of your completed home. At handover, we provide the relevant care guidance and documentation, with aftercare support as you settle in.

Do you work on both period properties and new builds?

As a guide, we allow six to eight weeks for design, approximately two weeks for placing orders, and around eight weeks for production and delivery. Bespoke pieces and projects involving building works may require longer.

Every project is different, and lead times vary between suppliers and specialist makers.

During the design stage, we clarify the anticipated programme with you and, where possible, explore alternative suppliers or specifications to accommodate your preferred completion date.
